Glogster Project

So I've finally started to get the hang of Glogster. It seemed easy at first, but I was having the hardest time finding pics from Creative Commons that would readily upload. I was thinking of using this as a pre-assessment for my beginning physics class to see what they associate certain words with. I actually had my wife do the project to see and it turned out well too.

  1. Cool idea!! It is always interesting to see what students really know about physics when they walk in the door. This could also be a great tool to use as a post-assessment. Have them create one at the beginning of the unit and one at the end, see what the differences are and have them reflect. Or you could have them do a "glog" about what they think physics is at the beginning of the year and then one as a final project at the end of the year. My mind is now reeling as a fellow physics teacher! :-) Thanks for the idea!

  2. Great example -- and nice job embedding. Glogster can be challenging to work with at times.

  3. I did have a hard time embedding. I was staying with a friend who is a graphics designer and builds web sites and he had to add to the code to make it work.
